As
guild in a multiuser online game with more than 10 million subscribers,
the Silverstar Defenders have a set of rules that need to be followed.
Violations of those rules can lead to demotion or removal from
the guild. Remember that the behavior of an individual member
determines how the guild is seen by others.
1. Respect the other player.
Like you, they pay money to play the game. Do not make it miserable for
them. Harrassment, immaturity and other ways to make the game
experience of another player miserable will lead to demotion.
2. Roleplay
We are a relaxed roleplaying guild. This means member should roleplay in /speak and /emote when other roleplayer are around, or
if the others in the are might be roleplayer. General chat, whisper,
party and guildchat
can be a mixture of roleplaying and out of
character, or completely out of character on the discretion of the
member. Out of character comments within a roleplay have to be
marked with [[ before and ]] after the comment.
3. Raid
Raiding is not a major part of the guild. If you want to do it, feel
free. Should the guild gain a sufficient number of high level player,
raids will be more possible.
4. PvP
A little bit more important than raiding. Member are encouraged to
participate on Battlegrounds and to come to the defense of an area that
is attacked. Raiding a Horde town however is not encouraged. Raiding a
low level Horde town and killing the Quest giver is considered
harrassment against horde player and can lead to demotion and expulsion.
5. Internal conflict.
Should an internal conflict arrise, the guildleader will try his best
to arbitrate and solve it in the best interest of the guild.
6. Guildvault.
Member are free to utilize the resources of the guildvault.
Replenishing the vault is the duty of every member and restocking of
the used resources and gold is expected. Excessive use of the
guildvault without appropiate repayment will be cause of demotion or
expulsion.
7. Promotions and demotions.
Promotions will be granted for aiding the guild, by either restocking
the vault, general interaction with the guild, good conduct and
recruitement. Promotions will also be granted for active time in the
guild, usually at levels 10, 20, 40, 60 and 70. Promotions will also
have a monetary stipend of 10 gold for the first promotion, 20gold for
the second and so forth.
Demotions will come to pass for violations againts the guild rules, misconduct and disruption of the guild.
Expulsions from the guild will be rarely, and only for strong violations or repeated misconduct,
8. Recruitment.
Each member is expected to recruit new member for the guild. High
ranking member (Ranks Protector and up) will be able to add them
directly, lower ranking member should direct the potential member to
the guildleader and the officers.
9. Activity.
We understand that real life always comes first and that things happen
that prevent people from logging in. We won't remove you from the game,
simply because you are inactive, but after 30 days of not logging into
the game, a character will be marked "inactive" in the roster. At that
time an in game mail (and email if provided) will be sent out as
information. Should the character return but not answer to this and
subsequent mails, the character will be removed from the guild.
10. Voluntary quitting.
Each member has the right to voluntarily quit the guild without
retribution. Characters who rejoin and quit regularly will slowly
decrease in rank upon subsequent rejoinings.
11. Involuntary removal.
A character that was removed from the guild for violations will be
monitored for a while, based on the reason of expulsion. Should that
character join a different guild, the guildmaster of the new guild will be
informed of the infraction to warn about possible misdeeds.
12. Uniform
To promote the feeling of being one group, it is encouraged to wear the
guild uniform outside of adventuring times. (Roleplaying in a tavern,
hanging out with friends, etc).
