Rob:

As I wrote in the first part of the scrapbook, Cass came over to about two weeks, to visit me in Berlin. It was a wonderful time, and quite interesting. Before she came I was expecting a peck on the cheek and some snuggling, maybe, just maybe, some lovemaking in the 2nd or 3rd night. For the first three nights, we didn't lived with my parents, as I had rented a small apartement (a suggestion from my mom.) However as Cass arrived it was more like my dream, than my expectations: She greeted me with a quite passionate kiss, which completely surprised me and as we arrived at the apartment, well, we had sex not much later. We tried to do some sightseeing, but just at that time quite a few of the Berlin places had been closed on the day we tried it and we didn't see much. But we also bought wedding rings and exchanged them as promise.Cass blinded by the clutter

The time after Cass visit was most likely my worst time. Before she came, I knew that I was lonely, but I had nothing to compare it with. There is a difference between lying in bed, wondering how it would feel sharing it with someone, and lying in bed, remembering how it felt having someone you love next to you.

I decided that I would not wait longer than necessary. And necessary was 3 months. Not by law or anything like that, but in germany the rule was, if you got Xmas bonus you would have to pay it back if you'd quit the job less than 3 months after. And since I needed that money to immigrate, I had to stay with my parents for that while.

It was not a good time. I lost my desire to do anything, after all, what could they do to me? Fire me? Without Cass the time in Berlin simply seemed so empty and endless. My parents knew what was going on and they helped at least giving me spiritual support.

But even that time went by and I sold my car, sold my DVDs and other stuff that I could turn into money and on March 27th, I kissed my mom goodbye and my father (or was it my brother, or both) brought me to the Airport.

The flight was not too bad. It was a bit late in Boston, but made it into the plane to Columbus, where my beloved fiancee and her brother waited for me. And thats how I met her family.

At first we had planned to get married one year after we became an online couple, but decided that sooner is better. After Cass got her marriage license we got married on April 2nd 2001, in the Pentacostal Church in Nelsonville. There was just a small attendance at this wedding, just Cass, her mother, grandparents and a friend of her grandma aRob and Cassnd myself. Well, and Brother Pullink who held the ceremony and his wife.

The Wedding Party, or WedCon as we called it, was held in June and we invited quite a few friends from our online forum, where we met. Barbara, who played the character Lady Elana (My characters wife) held the ceremony in character. We also had Susan and Eric Emplitt, Rick, Jose, Mary, Bryan and Lisa Moore. A few wore costumes, courtesy of Lady Elana Tailoring, the wedding outfits of Cass and me had been Barbs wedding present.
