History of the KOS
Once, there was a small hamlet called Paws on the plains north of
Trinsic. But it was destroyed by orcs long, long ago. The Trinsic Honor
Guards arrived too late to prevent the burning of this small village,
and almost all villagers were killed.
Then, a man named Lord Wolf build a new village over the ruinsof Paws,
a village he named Elysium. What noone knew was, that Lord Wolf himself
was a survivor of Paws. And he alone remembered about the "Elysians", a
group of scholard that lived near Paws. Scholars who studied and
venerated an old artefact, the "Book of Destiny".
As Paws was destroyed, the book vanished. It was rescued by Wolf, as
you might guess. It is the dedication of the Knights of Sosaria to
protect this book.
OOC Note:
The Player of Lord Wolf is the
founder of the KOS along with his daughter who played also Wolf's in
game daughter Nova. Paws was by itself never a true part of Ultima
Online, but a village north of Trinsic in the Original Ultima Games.
The Trinsic Council of Honor and the
Trinsic Honor guards held in 1999 a player run event called "The Ghosts
of Paws", in which it was revealed that the evil Thornwood infiltrated
the Honor Guard, enticed the orcs to attack Paws and intercepted the
call for help.
Lord Wolfs Story build on this.
The "Book of Destiny" is a rare in game book. The text is locked and cannot be edited and it has a unique hue.
