Highguard of Azeroth
History of the Highguard
The Highguard of Azeroth came from the ashes of the former guild "The Sidhe".
This guild was formed by the night-elf Faeborne and was home of many Highguards.
Among them was Siael, Robertus, Twil, Nozch, Giles and more.
One day, though,
it happened that "The Sidhe" was disbanded, no information was given as to why
it had happened. However, the now guildless friends came together and ten of
them, created a new guild. The Highguard of Azeroth. Each founding memember was
given the rank and title of Highguard, and Siael stepped up to the leadership
position.
But her reign wouldnt last long and she had to depart for times
unknown. Not wanting that her guild would fall into disarray, she promoted the
Highguard Robertus Du'Wintre to High Lord, even though he had been one of the
newer member of The Sidhe.
Robertus accepted and did his best, and while
many member departed for a summer break, he stayed behind and held the line.
After the summervacation was over, those who returned saw the guild halls empty.
Aadrinna, Giles and Sapling discussed it with Robertus and it was decided to
create the rank of High Council, equal in rights with the High Lord, but his
advisors. Robertus remained High Lord as he had shown that he can actually
listen to people. Aadrinna became the Officer responsible for public relations
and events. Sapling was to take care of recruitement and Giles is the general
advisor
Later
the Guildleadership was passed on to Giles, with Robertus now being
Advisor and Keeper of Records. He and Aadrinna continue their romantic
relationship and are planning to get married..
